背景簡介

吳博士為明愛專上學院助理教授、學生事務長、註冊社工、註冊性治療師以及認可身心靈全人健康模式執行師。此外，吳博士也是報章及雜誌專欄作家，曾接受電台及電視台訪問，及進行多次公眾演講，通過文字、廣播及傳媒工作，推廣健康性教育。吳博士現任香港性教育研究及治療專業協會會長，北京師範大學社會發展與公共政策學院社會工作室顧問。除教學及研究工作外，自2007年起在「香港情性健康中心」接見本地及外國人士性治療個案，幫助來訪者解決性生活方面的難題。自2013年起，更熱心推行青少年身心靈自我成長工作坊，成效顯著。學術研究方面，主要從事女性性學的探討（包括女性陰道性交障礙，女性性功能失調的相關因素、女性性功能的簡易測量方法），青年男女對性方面的態度和知識，青少年全人健康的提升等。有關身心靈工作坊的成效及女性性學的研究成果，曾在國際研討會上發表。此外，亦有多篇相關的研究論文，發表於在國內外的學術期刊。

吳博士於2010年至2015年在明愛專上學院社會科學系任教，主要負責教授心理學導論，自我成長課程及輔導學導論等科目，亦負責社工督導工作，及後負責教授學院通識課程。 所教授的科目包括:
