Duties

Appointees taking up these Research and Development projects will (i) conduct Research and Development work on the production of demonstration systems at industrial standard and also produce high-level research papers in international academic journals, on the above topics.

The first project is on Research and Development of Machine Learning Technologies for Applications, such as Automatic Football Commentary Systems. The second project is on the design theory of Deep Learning. The third project is on Super-Resolution of small or faint objects using deep learning.

Appointment Criteria

For Research Fellow (at the level of assistant professor in research), applicants should have (i) PhD degrees in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in related areas with the ability to conduct research independently in the above subject areas, (ii) strong technical English writing skills as evidenced by prior technical publications and (iii) good presentation skills as evidenced by prior experience to present technical papers.
