Duties

Duties

The appointee is responsible for:

  • Ensures the success of CBCC/CIHE's commitment to supporting and facilitating entrepreneurship development of our students and alumni through IIC.
  • Oversees the day-to-day operation of IIC, including marketing the Centre, recruiting potential incubatees, and assisting in screening potential candidates and making recommendations.

Laboratory Technician, School of Health Sciences (Ref: 22/016/HS/LT)
Duties

The appointee will be required to (i) provide support for teaching, research and service to the School of Health Sciences; performing regular maintenance and upkeep of all facilities in running order in the laboratories; (ii) maintain the daily operation of the laboratories and managing the inventory of the facilities and equipment in the laboratories; (iii) assist in the setting up, operation and maintenance of the computing, audio visual and other teaching equipment; (iv) perform general housekeeping in classrooms and laboratories; and (v) perform any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Health Sciences or his delegates.

 

The appointee may be required to work outside normal office hours and on Saturdays and Sundays due to specific operational requirements

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should have (i) five passes in HKCEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A; Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese Language (Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards) and Mathematics; or a combination of results in five HKDSE subjects of Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects, and the five subjects must include English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; (ii) good computer knowledge and experience in using application software such as MS Office, photo/video editing software and e-learning system, etc.; and (iii) be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua); have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and also the ability to work independently.

Duties

The appointee will be responsible for (a) requirement collection and preparation of technical documentation; (b) design, programming, testing and maintenance of IT systems; and (c) undertaking other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should: (a) have a recognised Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (b) have at least 2 years' relevant work experience (Fresh graduates will be considered as Programmer); (c) have experience in applications development using PL/SQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Java, JSP, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Java MVC Framework etc.; (d) have knowledge in website development and revamping; (e) have excellent analytical skills; and (f) be self-initiative, innovative and a good team player.

Duties

The appointee will be responsible for (i) conducting system design, analysis, development, testing and implementation of application systems; (ii) preparing documentations for user requirements, design specifications, test plans and test cases; (iii) providing on-going supports, maintenances and enhancements for developed application systems; (iv) providing system operation supports to departments and units; and (v) undertaking such other duties as duly assigned by the Director of Information Technology Services Centre.

Appointment Criteria

Applicants should: (i) have a recognised Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines; (ii) have at least 6 years' relevant work experience; (iii) have solid experience in Web and Java application development using Java, MVC framework (e.g. Spring or Struts), JSP, PHP, Ajax etc.; (iv) have experience in DBMS development using MSSQL and MySQL; (v) have excellent analytical skills; and (vi) be self-motivated and able to work independently.
