The government, university, and generous donors also set up a series of scholarship schemes to encourage students to pursue excellence. The following scholarship schemes are managed by the Registry and Student Affairs Office.

Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS)

This scheme is offered by HKSAR Government to give recognition not only to students with outstanding academic performance, but also those with achievements and talents in other non-academic fields. Scholarships and awards will be offered to students pursuing full-time locally accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor’s degree (including top-up degree) programmes.
