About Centre for Excellence

Centre for Excellence (CfE) of CIHE was founded in 2009 to assist the Institute on her way to excellence by integrating possible internal and external resources and promoting the use of best practices in learning and teaching. Major roles of our Centre include:

• Grant Application: Working together with various Units in our Institute to apply for major grant opportunities in order to improve the quality of student development and learning and teaching in our Institute.
• Project Execution and Sustainment: Coordinating with various Units to execute the on-going projects smoothly and providing continuous supports to the previous projects so that all units can still benefit from all the projects.
• Professional Training: Promoting the best practices in learning and teaching by providing professional training workshops and encouraging colleagues to join academic conferences on learning and teaching.
