Career Exploration
Personality Dimensions®(PD) is an easily understood method for building self-awareness, self-esteem and effective communication strategies. It uses the self-discovery method to select the temperament that is most like you, and helps to determine your preferred work style, work environment, strengths, challenges, and career fit.
This workshop focuses on exploring your work preferences. Unlike many career assessment instruments, Career Dimensions™ helps you to explore the actual work environment in which yo are most comfortable by examining a variety of areas, including: the natural talents you bring to work, your values, your major job stressors, your work philosophy and your definition of success.
Build Your Career Plan is a self exploring activity designed to find students' own career path. With instructions and guidance, students are expected to determine their short term and long term career goals, making detailed action plans. |

Employment Preparation
The Resume Workshop aims at facilitating students to learn the structure and techniques to create an effective resume and how to target their resumes to specific jobs. How to create a presentable cover letter is also one of the main point in the workshop. Students are required to complete their resume and submit for Career Advisors review.
Career Coaching provides individual and small group coaching sessions on career selection, resume review and mock interview. Students have a change to have further review on their resume and advanced interview skills practice. |

Career Skills
The training course is specifically designed for students who want to know the business manner, polish their social and business skills, and improve their professional image. The course defines professional behavior and suggest standards for business appearance and actions. It prepares participants to handle a variey of social and business situation such as social event, business meeting and business meals and formal dinner. Image Enhancement The course designed for students who interested in building and enhancing personal image. To increase students' personal confience, the course mainly focus on teaching students about make up and dressing skills in different occasions.
The Excel training course targets beginner and intermediate Excel users. The course covers the most essential features such as data entry, building equations with Excel's functions, formatting ereporting, print settings and charting. And it also covers a wide range of spreadsheet features including advanced search, consolidating mutiple worksheets, database functions, lookup functions, what-if analysis, scenario analsis and data protection.
The photoshop course will be started with basic concepts and terminology. Different easy to follow exercises will be used to help students gaining the understanding of different photoshop's features. Students will learn how to colour correct your photos, repair or remove unwanted objects, applying text effects, composing images, creating commercial posters and how to output for print.
The video editing workshops starts with basic concepts and terminology of Adobe Premiere Pro. Students will learn how join and split different videos, how to add subtitles and soundtracks. Different easy to follow exercises will be used to help students gaining the understanding of different Adobe Premiere Pro features.
The Customer Service Workshop aims at inspiring students to understand the importance of having a service orientated and custmer first mindset in business and service environments. It focus on applying "building warmth and empathy" skill sets to maintain customer relationships and to instill a win-win mindset.
The Business English courses are designed to improve students' practical English in real business world. It aims to learn effective written communication techniques and sector-specific vocabulary, as well as improving listening and speaking skills for meetings and teleconferences.
The course targets for students who are preparing the Common Recruitment Examinations (CRE) and the Basic Law Test (BLT) for applying the Civil Servant. It is expected to strengthened students' knowledge of the tests' structure and techniques of tackling the tests effectively.
The course provides a chance for students to have a general understanding of common Labour Law and practise. It covers the major contents and real cases' practises of Employment Ordinance, Minimum Wage Ordinance and Employees' Compensation Ordinance. |
