The Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) (Applied Degree Places) programme is one of the selected programme of the Pilot Project on the Development of Applied Degree Programmes launched by the Education Bureau. Sub-degree holders are possible to complete the 5-year programme in a shorter duration, and eligible for registration as Registered Nurse after graduate. Subsidized places are available under the Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP). A subsidy of HK$77,040 will be provided to each eligible student in 2022/23 academic year.

CIHE and CBCC strive to provide articulation pathways for students. 2 years ago, Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Translation Technology are offered, and CIHE and CBCC will offer 2 related new Sub-degree programmes - Higher Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Information and Communication Technology and Higher Diploma in Translation Technology and Modern Languages in the coming academic year.

By combining Humanities and Technology, Translation Technology allows students to develop advance skills to complete translation tasks. Translation Technology has higher efficiency, able to support a wide range of languages, and more compatible with new media. Higher Diploma in Translation Technology and Modern Languages programme aims to strengthen the Chinese and English ability of students, and they are also required to study German or Japanese as a third language elective. Theoretical and practical knowledge of translation and translation technology will also be covered by the programme. Higher Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Information and Communication Technology programme introduces recent Information and Communication Technology to students comprehensively, especially in fast-developing fields like Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis. By studying both theory and applications, students can be able to implement cutting-edge technologies to various disciplines, and be prepared to enter the industry or proceed to advanced studies.
