CIHE&CBCC appoint Dr Kim Mak as President

The Board of Governors of Caritas Institute of Higher Education (“CIHE”) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (“CBCC”) announced the appointment of Dr Kim Mak as the President of CIHE and CBCC with effect from 1 February, 2017.

Dr Mak received his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Western Australia, and his Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge. He also received a second Master’s degree in Business Administration from the City University, London.

Dr Mak has long been engaged in higher and professional education. He is well-versed with university governance and quality assurance. He is devoted to community services and has rendered significant contribution in the areas of social work and health care, mission building, fund raising and governance enhancement. Dr Mak has been awarded Bronze Bauhinia Star and is a Justice of the Peace.

With Dr Mak’s wealth of leadership and management experiences, The Board of Governors is expecting Dr Kim Mak will lead both CIHE and CBCC to pursue excellence and scale new heights in the years to come.
