Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiotherapy students and staff participated in multiple local sporting events in Hong Kong in November, including the 2023 Hong Kong Functional Fitness Championships, Oxfam Trailwalker 2023, and the HYROX CrossFit Championship (Hong Kong station).
Led by Dr CHOI Ching Man, Associate Professor of Practice from the School of Health Sciences, brought nearly 50 students and staff to provide first aid, sports injury prevention and rehabilitation services to the large-scale events. They also promoted the Physiotherapy programme to the public and awarded winning teams from the various fitness competitions.
On the same day of the 2023 Hong Kong Functional Fitness Championships event, Dr CHOI was awarded Best Fitness Educator by the Sports Performance and Functional Fitness Federation of Hong Kong, China
