Sichuan quake survivors shared their story with CIHE students

It has been almost 15 years since the devastating earthquake in Sichuan, and since then, groups of medical and rehabilitation professionals from Hong Kong have been aiding survivors in their recovery from trauma. Recently, three survivors - HUANG Si-yu, Hu-yue, and WEI Yun-lu - who lost their limbs in the disaster, visited Hong Kong to share their stories with the city's institutes, including Caritas Institute of Higher Education, in a bid to raise awareness about the importance of rehabilitation.

Three Wenchuan earthquake survivors shared a photo session with students of Bachelor of Sciences (Hons) in Physiotherapy and Dr Tiffany CHOI, Deputy Programme Leader of the programme Guests at the sharing session took a group photo with representatives from the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education and physiotherapy students and practitioners. Caritas Institute of Higher Education invited three survivors of the Wenchuan earthquake to share their experiences with students of the Physiotherapy (Hons) programme.
