The new Social Care stream of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) Programme is set to commence in September 2023. This new stream is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to effect change at the community level, with a particular focus on promoting inclusivity for disadvantaged groups or communities. The program emphasizes community-based approaches and practical learning. Through the curriculum, students will gain proficiency in analyzing social issues from multiple theoretical perspectives and use a diverse set of innovative and practical tools to address these challenges.
