On 9 January 2016, 30 CIHE students departed for Shanghai Jiao Tong University on the week-long Academic and Cultural Exchange Tour, co-sponsored by the Home Affairs Bureau and Commission on Youth, with an aim to deepen their understanding of Shanghai. Apart from academic activities held on campus, students had the chance to learn about commercial operations through visits to major business organizations. Other highlights of the tour included visits to famous tourist attractions as well as a taste of local cuisines. Throughout the exchange tour, students learned more about recent developments and career opportunities in Mainland China. Students also found the eye-opening exchange tour very beneficial and they were already looking forward to similar tours in future.
