Saint Francis Thanksgiving Tree, Be Inspired

25 Nov 2020

It is with immense joy that we announce: The Saint Francis Thanksgiving Tree is now installed on Level One of CIHE campus as an expression of our heartfelt thanks to donors for their gracious contributions.  The Thanksgiving Tree is incorporated on a display board with a creative design in 4-dimension and 5-sense sensation, disseminating as a whole the messages of gratitude, Catholic beliefs and values of higher education.

In an expression of gratitude, we are saying a BIG "Thank You" to our contributors in multi-national languages for rendering their faithful support to Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) on our journey towards the establishment of Saint Francis University.

To visualize Catholic beliefs, the display of The Saint Francis Thanksgiving Tree is set by a stream of water to imply that the Tree, while yielding its fruits in each season, its leaves do not wither. This signifies that God bless those who love the Law of God and meditate his Law day and night. Fruits of the Spirit on The Thanksgiving Tree symbolize Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control.

At the right and left ends of the display board the signs of The Signature Tree orchestrate the theme "It takes a decade to grow a tree but a century to bring up a good person".  With our dedicated loving care and whole person education approach, CIHE and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) are committed to bringing up well-built students who are ready to make contributions to the community.
