Senior Management / Deanship / Headship Positions

Associate Head, Department of Business and Hospitality Management (Ref.: 21/064/ACAD/AH)

Formerly known as Caritas Francis Hsu College (CFHC), Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) commenced its operations in 1985.  At present, CIHE has five academic schools which are responsible for offering programmes that are pitched at Hong Kong Qualifications Framework (HKQF) from Level 4 to Level 6.

The Rita Tong Liu School of Business and Hospitality Management (the School) prides itself in offering professional education in various disciplines of business studies (in both full-time and part-time modes), providing students with learning experiences that are aligned closely with industry trends and market needs, especially in the area of economic, business and technological developments.  Our BBA (Hons) Programme, with 4 streams, Accountancy (AC), Corporate Management and Governance (CMG), Hotel Management (HM), Marketing and Event Management (MEM), aims to provide students with professional development, sound education and positive life values.  The School has received professional recognition by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), CPA (Australia) and Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS).  Our graduates in BBA (Hons) Accountancy and Corporate Management and Governance are granted equivalent exemption status as students of other local universities. Besides, the School launched in 2020/21 a Top-up programme, namely Bachelor of Entrepreneurial Management (Honours) in Design Business (BEMDB). This interdisciplinary programme aims to nurture future entrepreneurs in the field of design business.  BEMDB graduates are expected to become entrepreneurs in their own design businesses or in other project/brand/segment start-up positions in the design or creative industry.

The School will launch the first CIHE's Master's programme (part-time mode) in January 2022, namely Master of Corporate Governance (MCG). This programme aims to enhance students' career development as Company Secretaries or Corporate Governance Professionals.
