Senior Management / Deanship / Headship Positions

Associate/ Assistant Manager (Admission and Recruitment) (Ref.: 24/45/PAO/AM)
Duties
  1. Coordinate school outreach activities to enhance student admission numbers, fostering relationships with high schools and educational institutions;
  2. Conduct information sessions, presentations, admission talks, and participate in expos to educate students, parents, and school administrators about our programs, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities;
  3. Travel to the mainland to conduct recruitment activities, including attending fairs, conducting presentations, and meeting with prospective students and their families;
  4. Develop and implement taster programs to provide prospective students;
  5. Ensure standardization and effective management of the admission scholarship process;
  6. Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling recruitment materials, such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.

Appointment Criteria
  1. Applicants should have a recognised degree, preferably in Marketing, Communication, or related discipline;
  2. At least 5 years' experience in recruitment and engagement, public affairs, marketing or a similar role;
  3. Experience in post-secondary institutes or as career master / teacher in secondary schools would be an advantage;
  4. Proficient in media monitoring and analysis tools;

Duties
  • Strategic Marketing: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing initiatives to promote the university's programs and enhance its reputation, aligning with strategic plans and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Formulate public affairs strategies, building rapport with external stakeholders including media, government agencies, and industry partners, to establish a positive reputation for the institution.
  • Creative Campaign Management: Lead and guide the team in successful execution of branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and impactful results.
  • Media Relations & Digital Marketing: Serve as the primary contact for media relations, coordinate interviews and press conferences, and develop digital marketing strategies encompassing websites, social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization.

Director/Associate Director of Quality Assurance Office (Ref.: 24/21/QAO/D)
Duties

The Director/Associate Director of Quality Assurance Office (QAO) is responsible for assisting the Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance) and Associate Vice-President (Quality Assurance) in (i) ensuring effective enforcement and implementation of the Quality Assurance (QA) policies and systems of the University/College; (ii) overseeing the operations of the QAO, including staff management, resource allocation, workflow coordination, and data management; (iii) liaising with academic units in programme management and programme review matters, ensuring timely submission of responses to meet external accreditation and requirements of professional bodies ; (iv) coordinating survey/ analysis exercises for production of QA reports and relevant documentations and quality enhancement purposes; (v) reviewing QA record-related matters regularly for continuous enhancement of QA schemes and processes; (vi) managing the contents of the QAO's staff portal, student portal and website for sharing of information with relevant internal and external parties; and (vii) performing other duties assigned by the Vice-President (Academic and Quality Assurance) and/or the Associate Vice President (Quality Assurance).

Appointment Criteria

  1. Postgraduate degree, preferably a Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field;
  2. Certified Trainer certification will be an advantage;
  3. Minimum of 8 years of solid HR experience, preferably in a leadership role within a tertiary education institution or a related field;
  4. Strong knowledge of staff and organizational development principles, practices, and methodologies;
  5. Proven experience in designing and implementing staff development and organizational development programmes;
