Established in 1985 and 1971 respectively, Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) and Caritas Bianchi College of Careers (CBCC) enjoyed a long tradition as caring institutions, offering post-secondary education courses.
In 2011, CIHE was accorded the degree awarding status by Hong Kong government under CAP. 320. Working closely with CBCC, which focuses on sub-degrees, CIHE strives to become the future Saint Francis University.
This bi-college system offers flexible and diverse advancement pathways covering Postgraduate, Undergraduate, Sub-degree and Diploma programmes in over 35 subject areas, to empower students from all walks of life with quality vocational and professional education.
