Caritas Institute of Higher Education (CIHE) launches a brand new scholarship called Project Goal, to help local students who have DSE scores of 13 and above (from the best five subjects), but with financial difficulties, to pursue degree education. The Project Goal scholarship scheme empowers capable students not to give up their dream of making academic advancement. By receiving this Scholarship, and after deducting the Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies of the Government (NMTSS) or Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions (SSSDP), the annual tuition fee will be reduced to as low as HK$10,000 (need to meet the following requirements) for each of Years 1 to 4 of five of our bachelor’s degree programmes.
Students need to apply for admission before submitting the application form of the Scholarship. The completed application form of the Scholarship should be returned by mail or in person to the Registry, CIHE, 2 Chui Ling Lane, Tseung Kwan O, on or before March 31, 2018. To facilitate early planning by the appropriate students who have completed the application, conditional offers of the Scholarship will be given by email, with which the students can claim the Scholarship offer with their DSE results before July 16, 2018. During this period, students may also be contacted by CIHE staff regarding their Scholarship’s application.
CIHE reserves the right to make changes regarding the Scholarship scheme offered. In case of disputes, the decision of CIHE shall be final.
Students who are supported under the Project Goal scholarship scheme will not be supported under the Entrance Scholarship and Academic Achievement Scholarship schemes.
