Programme Features

  • 2-year full time programme
  • Equips students with essential and specialised knowledge in translation and interpreting so that they can embark on careers of their choice and perform skilled tasks that meet quality standards
  • Provides students with a broad knowledge base so that they can pursue further education in related areas
  • Qualifies graduates to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Language and Liberal Studies Programme offered by CIHE, or other Bachelor’s Degree programmes
  • Enable graduates to take up positions in various industries and areas, such as advertising, mass media, journalism, corporate communications, public relations and the civil service. They may also choose to work as freelance translators and/or interpreters
