Appointment criteria for posts (1), (3) and (5):
Applicants should have an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant
disciplines, considerable and relevant teaching experience (preferably with
programme planning and administration experience at Bachelor’s degree level)
and a good record of research and peer-reviewed publications. Thesis writing
or Honours Project supervision experience is desirable. A good command of
English and Chinese is also essential.
Appointment criteria for posts (2), (4) and (6):
Applicants for Senior Lecturer position should have an
earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines plus a minimum
of 3 years’ professional experience and teaching experience at higher
education level. PhD graduates with good potentials in conducting research
and commitment to quality teaching may be considered also for the post of
Senior Lecturer.
Applicants for Lecturer position should have a
Master’s degree with considerable professional and teaching experience in
the above-listed areas. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated
ability to conduct research and acquire research grants. A good command of
English and Chinese is required.
Appointment criteria for post (7): Applicants should
have an earned and recognised Doctoral degree in relevant disciplines plus a
minimum of 3 years’ professional experience and teaching experience at
higher education level. Preference will be given to those with good research
record and demonstrated ability to provide academic leadership and
experience in the development and administration of higher education
